At 64, Gates isn’t kicking back in his retirement. In fact, he’s moved into a new field that impacts every single person in the world—health. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is the world’s largest charity and focuses on cures for illnesses, especially in third-world nations.
Lo and behold, back in 2015, Bill Gates gave a TED Talk where he almost prophetically described the greatest threat to the world as not a nuclear weapon but a viral pandemic. Now in response to COVID-19 in 2020, Gates is advocating for vaccinating every person in the world against the coronavirus.
What a wonderful ambition, right? Who wouldn’t want everyone to be healthy?
Well, there’s a lot more to it than that. This weekend on The Christian Worldview, we’re going to examine the question: Who is Bill Gates and why does he want to vaccinate every person in the world?
