The midterm election was an unmitigated disaster for Republicans as Democrats won back the U.S. House and U.S. Senate and will hold large majorities in both chambers. The forecast for the next two years for President Trump and conservatives looks to be heavy turbulence.
The rout was so shocking that even Texas, a historically Republican stronghold, has turned Democrat blue—an ominous sign for Republicans in the 2028 general election. An Islamist in Michigan with alleged family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood won a U.S. Senate seat and a theological leftist in TX who once said “God is non-binary” will be their next senator. In New Hampshire, their new male U.S. senator hugged his “husband” on stage during his victory speech. Meanwhile in our home state of Minnesota, the Democrat Party that oversaw billions of dollars in fraud by Somali Muslims were all reelected.
So what’s a Christian to think and do when the country he or she loves, which was founded and flourished on largely Christian principles, dives in a godless direction?
