Whether you’re hearing this before or after the election, there is one thing above all to keep in mind: God is sovereign. He reigns over the universe. He causes or allows everything that happens to happen. He is the one who raises and reduces leaders. His plans and purposes will come to pass.
And He will give Christians the grace—His power—going forward no matter who our leaders are.
Psalm 103:19 says, The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all.

Humanism, with its political arm, secular progressivism, is a man-centered worldview that holds government as the highest authority. It has taken over the most influential institutions in America, including the educational and legal systems, politics, and the media.
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are secular progressives who are masters of couching unbiblical policies in euphemistic, even religious language, such as abortion being a “women’s right to health care.”
The Bible says, “the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. And again, “The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.” 1 Corinthians 3:19-21

We have been recently reminded of the seemingly irreconcilable worldview divides in America: blacks vs. police; Islamists vs. Westerners; homosexual activists vs. traditionalists; Democrats vs. Republicans.
The truth found in Scripture is the key to changing minds and hearts, that God in the Bible is the only true God, that He defines morality, that government should honor Him, and that we should love one another.
A proud heart is impenetrable to truth. But when we humbly trust in Jesus as Savior and obey His word, He promises, “you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
