The Bible says, “in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons…” (1 Tim. 4:1)
That’s apostasy—departing from primary doctrines of the faith, such as twisting the nature and character of God or the parson and work of Christ.
Apostasy is an ongoing reality in churches and individuals, but can never happen to the true believer because God keeps secure those He has adopted into His family.
Christians are called to contend earnestly for the faith, calling those back who are heading down the road to apostasy.

Do we really believe this, that there are many professing Christians sewing seeds of error that lead people away from the truth?
Well, we’d better, because Satan relentlessly works to destroy the church and sound doctrine through subtle lies that deceive many.
So let’s follow Paul’s exhortation to: “examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil” (1 Thessalonians 5:21-22).

Make America Great Again … Or Was It Never Great? This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo recently said: “We’re not going to make America great again. It was never that great.”
Those who share Gov. Cuomo’s Leftist worldview point to America’s history of slavery and sexism to show that America has never been great.
America, as all nations, is marred by sin. But relative to other nations, we have been great, saving the world from tyranny, inspiring freedom, and spreading the gospel.
Greatness isn’t perpetual though. To be great in God’s eyes, America must follow the Psalmist who said: Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
