Jesus in the Old Testament? (Sept. 22-28, 2014)
So where is Jesus in the Old Testament? This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.
The answer is that Jesus is everywhere in the Old Testament! On the first pages of Scripture, God killing an animal to provide covering for Adam and Eve after they sinned points to Jesus’ dying for our sin. The ark of Noah points to Jesus saving us from judgment. The bread that God provided to the Jews during the Exodus points to Jesus statement that He is the bread of life.
The progressive revelation of Christ throughout the entire Old Testament confirms that Jesus is who He said He was: the prophesied Savior of mankind.
This weekend, we’ll discuss why Christ needed to be fully God and fully man.
Islamic State “Not Islamic”? (Sept. 15-21, 2014)
Is the Islamic State “not Islamic”? This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.
President Obama recently said: “ISIL is not Islamic. No religion condones the killing of innocents.”
The truth is, the Islamic State and it’s goal of a revived Islamic caliphate in the middle east gained through militant jihad and ruled by Islamic sharia law is theologically based in centuries-old Islamic teaching and Mohammed’s example. To say otherwise is to ignore or reinterpret history.
Our nation has a biblical duty to protect its citizens from those who would harm us and Christians have the call to speak the truth in love.

This weekend, Todd Friel joins us to take off the mask that the world has put on Jesus.
Processing the Bad News (Sept. 8-14, 2014)
How do we process all the bad news? This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.
It turns the stomach to watch the evil in the world: Islamists beheading Americans, the persecution or killing of Christians, passenger planes missing or shot down, deadly viruses, and a pervasive rejection of God, His Son, and His Word in our nation with regard to marriage, family, and morality.
The Bible tells us to pay attention to the signs of the times, but it also says to balance our diet by setting our minds on things above through hearing sound, biblical preaching, studying the Word ourselves, and praying at all times so that we can be strengthened and ready to share the hope that is in us.

This weekend, we’ll discuss why Islam demands conversion, dhimmitude, or death.
Hope of Heaven (Sept 1-7, 2014)
How does hope of heaven affect life on earth? This is David Wheaton, host of The Christian Worldview.
We live in a sin-cursed world where trials, disease, and death are painful facts of life. But did you know that God promises that He will someday create a new heaven and new earth, where those who repent and place their faith in Christ as Savior and Lord will spend eternity in the presence of God, and as it says in Revelation, “there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain”?
For the believer, any fears on earth melt away when we rest in our hope of heaven.
This weekend Marvin Olasky of World Magazine will join us to talk about the media.
