Ever wonder why Communist, socialist, and liberal countries have government-run health care? Apologists will say “because everyone deserves the right to health care.”
Government-run health care is one of the crown jewels for those with a humanistic worldview because it provides the most powerful means of control over every citizen, from pre-birth to death.
And yet when government gets the final say in health care, the killing of the unborn becomes routine and the elderly are deemed expendable, all the while the cost of care skyrockets and the quality of care plummets.
The signature law of President Obama was the passage of the euphemistically named “Affordable Care Act” on Christmas Eve in 2009. Obamacare, as it is known, helped millions get health insurance for the first time but dramatically raised the costs for millions of others. And now President Trump has promised to repeal and replace it.
Twila Brase, president of Citizen’s Council for Health Freedom, joins us this weekend on The Christian Worldview to discuss whether Obamacare will truly be repealed and what it might be replaced with. Also, we will also discuss abortion, the American holocaust taking place behind closed doors.
