Guest: David Limbaugh, author, Jesus on Trial
“Do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence.” 1 Peter 3:14-15
David Limbaugh grew up as the youngest of two boys in the small Mississippi River town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. You may have heard of his older brother—radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
Despite being part of an educated, politically conservative, church-going family, David entered adulthood as a skeptic with regard to the Christian faith. But when he applied his attorney’s skills to honestly investigate Scripture, David repented of his sin, placed his faith in Christ, and became a born-again Christian.
So what exactly did David Limbaugh discover in studying God’s word? His most recent book, Jesus on Trial: A Lawyer Affirms the Truth of the Gospel, already a New York Times bestseller, dives 406 pages deep into the historicity, prophecies, and paradoxes of Scripture, along with investigating the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. David joins us this weekend on The Christian Worldview to make the case for Christ and Christianity.
